This work is the beginning of a project for my little daughter, inspired by memories of catching frogs in a river, feeding fish with pasta, pickling cucumbers with my grandmother, and playing with friends while my mom returned from shopping. I remember wet feet, scraped knees, the scents and textures of the natural world, and endless laughter. The recurring jar quietly collects these small treasures, preserving moments to inspire children.

As part of Folktale Week, I created my own picture story about Tarsieti (a creature that seems to be part tarsier, part yeti, no one knows for sure).
